The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel, measuring 4700mm, is engineered for builders and contractors requiring robust support in cavity walls with 50-65mm cavities and 110-115mm inner leaf thickness. This lintel is a dependable choice for demanding structural applications where strength and longevity are essential. Please note that a separate flexible DPC must be incorporated during installation to ensure proper damp proofing.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for heavy-duty cavity wall construction, supporting substantial loads across openings such as large windows and doorways. It is ideal for use on projects where extreme load-bearing capacity is required, including commercial builds or multi-storey developments. To achieve optimal performance, the lintel must be laterally restrained and supported by a minimum 200mm bearing at each end, with inner-to-outer leaf load ratios ranging from 5:1 to 19:1.
