The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4500mm is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural projects. This heavy-duty lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with 50-65mm cavities and inner leaves between 110-115mm. Its robust construction and galvanised finish ensure long-lasting performance under extreme loads. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

Ideal for high-load bearing cavity wall openings in residential, commercial, and industrial builds, this lintel provides critical support above doors, windows, and other wall penetrations. It is especially suited for projects requiring enhanced strength due to heavy masonry or structural demands. The lintel must be laterally restrained with end bearings of at least 200mm to achieve specified load capacities, ensuring safety and compliance on site.
