The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4400mm is designed specifically for builders and site managers tackling demanding structural projects. Perfect for cavity walls with a 50-65mm gap and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, this lintel delivers reliable support where heavy loads are expected. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation to maintain moisture barriers.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in heavy-duty masonry openings such as large window or door frames in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. It supports extreme loads where standard lintels may not suffice, ensuring structural integrity in cavity walls with specified dimensions. The lintel must be laterally restrained with 200mm bearing at each end and appropriate inner to outer leaf load ratios (between 5:1 and 19:1) to meet load requirements.
