Details

The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4300mm is engineered specifically for demanding construction projects requiring superior load-bearing capacity. Suitable for builders, contractors and site managers working with cavity walls, this lintel offers reliable strength and corrosion protection thanks to its galvanised steel construction. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during building works as this is not included.

Application

This lintel is designed for cavity walls with cavity widths between 50mm and 65mm and inner leaf thicknesses of 110mm to 115mm. It supports heavy structural loads in both residential and commercial buildings, making it ideal for openings such as large windows and door frames where extra strength is critical. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratings.
