The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding construction projects where maximum strength and durability are essential. Suitable for builders, site managers, and contractors requiring reliable support over wide openings, this 4200mm lintel is a robust solution for cavity walls with inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during build.

Application

This lintel is ideal for heavy structural loads in cavity wall construction, particularly where large spans or extreme loading conditions are present. It is widely used in commercial and residential developments requiring strong, galvanised steel lintels to support masonry above openings such as doors and windows. The lintel must be laterally restrained and have minimum 200mm end bearing supports to achieve specified load capacities.
