The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for builders and contractors requiring dependable structural support in cavity wall applications. At 4100mm in length, this lintel is ideal for projects involving heavy loads where cavity widths range from 50 to 65mm and inner leaf thickness is between 110 and 115mm. Please note, the lintel is supplied with a post galvanised finish to ensure durability, and a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed on site.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed to carry extreme loads over openings in cavity walls, such as large windows and doorways on commercial or residential developments. It must be installed with minimum 200mm end bearing supports and lateral restraint to achieve optimum load distribution.
