The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is a specialist structural lintel designed for demanding building projects requiring exceptional load-bearing capacity. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on cavity walls with inner leaf thicknesses between 110-115mm and cavity widths of 50-65mm, this lintel offers reliable strength and durability. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation for correct moisture control.

Application

This lintel is engineered for use in heavy load-bearing cavity wall constructions, commonly applied in commercial and residential developments where enhanced structural support is critical. Its design accommodates standard cavity widths, making it suitable for lintelling over large openings such as windows and doors in masonry walls. The lintel must be laterally restrained and supported on a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratings, ensuring safety and stability on site.
