The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2850mm is engineered for builders and contractors handling demanding structural projects. Its robust design supports heavy loads in cavity walls with 50-65mm width and inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, making it a dependable choice for serious construction work. Please note, this lintel is supplied without the flexible DPC, which must be fitted separately on site.

Application

Ideal for use in cavity wall construction where extreme load-bearing capacity is required, this lintel supports substantial structural weight above openings such as doors and windows. It is particularly suited to projects needing reliable, long-lasting performance under demanding conditions. Installation requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to meet load specifications. Builders should also ensure the correct inner to outer leaf load ratio between 5:1 and 19:1 is maintained for optimal performance.
