The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2500mm is engineered specifically for builders and contractors needing reliable support for heavy-duty cavity wall applications. Please note that a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is suitable for cavity walls with a cavity width between 50 and 65mm and an inner leaf thickness of 110 to 115mm. It is designed to carry extreme loads, making it ideal for commercial and residential developments that demand high structural integrity. The lintel requires lateral restraint and a minimum end bearing of 200mm to achieve its specified load capacity. It can also be supplied with optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate for enhanced masonry support.
