The Catnic Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel CX130/125 at 4800mm length is designed for builders and tradespeople tackling larger cavity wall openings where strength and durability are essential. This lintel supports wide inner leaf walls and features built-in corrosion protection and a damp proof course, making it a practical choice for long-lasting, efficient builds. Please note, the lintel is supplied as shown and is suitable for specified cavity and leaf widths.

Application

Specifically manufactured for use in cavity wall construction where inner leaves measure between 125mm and 140mm and cavities range from 130mm to 145mm. Ideal for supporting brickwork or blockwork above wide openings such as windows and doors on heavy-duty projects. The integrated DPC helps maintain the integrity of the wall cavity by preventing moisture ingress, while the plaster key ensures a secure finish with plaster or render.
