The Catnic External Solid Wall Lintel CN71C 1050mm is engineered for builders and contractors working on solid masonry walls between 200mm and 215mm thick. Its robust galvanised steel construction and duplex corrosion protection make it an excellent choice for external applications where durability and reliability are essential.

Application

This lintel is ideal for spanning openings in external solid walls, providing strong support for brickwork or blockwork above windows and doors. It’s particularly suited to construction projects where long-term weather resistance is critical. For walls thicker than 250mm, alternative lintel options such as open back lintels are recommended; consult Catnic Technical Services for guidance. Additionally, CN71 and CN81 lintels can be adapted for use as heavy-duty wall eaves lintels in cavity walls from 70mm to 100mm.
