Application

This lintel is ideal for use in external solid wall applications, providing reliable support over window and door openings in masonry walls of 200mm to 215mm thickness. It is suitable for heavy-duty load-bearing situations, including residential and commercial builds. For solid walls exceeding 250mm thickness, an open back lintel option is recommended – please consult Catnic Technical Services for advice. Additionally, CN71 and CN81 lintels can be adapted for use as heavy-duty wall eaves lintels in cavity walls ranging from 70mm to 100mm.
