The Catnic External Solid Wall Lintel CN71A 1650mm is engineered specifically for builders and contractors working with 200mm to 215mm thick exterior solid walls. Its robust galvanised steel construction combined with a powder-coated finish and duplex corrosion protection makes it a reliable choice for structural support in demanding environments. Please note, standard lengths come in 150mm increments and specialist options are available for thicker walls.

Application

This lintel is suited to solid wall construction projects requiring a strong, corrosion-resistant structural support over openings such as windows and doors. It supports uniform distributed loads safely, designed to accommodate end bearings of 150mm. For solid walls exceeding 250mm thickness, an open back lintel variant is recommended; please contact Catnic Technical Services for advice. Additionally, CN71 and CN81 lintels can be adapted for use as heavy-duty wall eaves lintels in cavity walls between 70mm and 100mm.
