The Catnic CN71A external solid wall lintel is engineered specifically for builders and contractors working with 200mm to 215mm thick solid walls. Application

Ideal for spanning openings in external solid walls, the CN71A lintel supports masonry above doors, windows, and other wall voids. Its robust design accommodates uniform distributed loads with a safe working load up to 29kN, depending on length. The lintel’s integral plaster key and ribbed underside facilitate secure plaster and insulation adhesion, helping maintain finish quality on site. For solid walls thicker than 250mm, consider using an appropriate open back lintel and consult Catnic Technical Services for guidance. Additionally, CN71 and CN81 lintels serve as heavy-duty wall eaves lintels for cavity widths between 70mm and 100mm.
