The Catnic Arch Centre is a specialist extruded PVC-u unit designed for creating strong, accurate segmental brick arches over openings in external cavity walls. Ideal for builders and contractors working on both traditional masonry and timber frame projects, it delivers reliable support and exceptional weather resistance.

Application

This arch centre provides permanent centring during the construction of brick arches above doors, windows, and other openings, ensuring consistent shape and alignment. Its integral weep vents allow wind-driven rainwater to drain safely from the cavity, maintaining structural integrity. Designed to be used in conjunction with Catnic lintels, it suits a range of modern and traditional building methods.

Installation Notes: Before installation, check the Arch Centre for any damage and remove all protective wrapping. Ensure the mounting surfaces are clean and dry. Position the unit centrally over the opening and trim the front drip section at the bearing end as required to accommodate thin mortar joints and achieve a neat finish. Each unit is designed to cover a structural opening with a tolerance of ±25mm.
