The Catnic Arch Centre is a specialist arch centring unit crafted for builders, contractors, and site managers engaged in cavity wall construction. It delivers a dependable and permanent solution for forming segmental brick arches, combining structural support with a clean finish to meet the demands of serious building projects.

Application

Specifically engineered for openings in external cavity walls, this Arch Centre provides stable, long-lasting formwork that remains in place throughout the build and beyond. Suitable for traditional masonry and timber frame applications, it supports brickwork above lintels while allowing moisture to escape through integral weep vents, helping to maintain the integrity of the wall and reduce risk of damp.

For best results, verify the Arch Centre size matches your opening, remove all protective wrapping before installation, and ensure all mounting surfaces are clean and dry. Position the unit centrally and trim the front drip edge at the bearing end if necessary to suit thin mortar joints, enhancing appearance and fit. The Arch Centre accommodates openings within ±25mm tolerance and is available in 50mm increments for rises of 75mm or 150mm. Only undamaged units should be used to guarantee structural reliability.
