The Catnic Arch Centre is a specialist PVC-u arch unit designed to provide permanent and reliable centring for brick arch construction over openings in external cavity walls. Perfect for builders and contractors working on both traditional masonry and timber frame projects, this product simplifies the formation of segmental arches while ensuring durability and weather resistance. Please note, the product is supplied as a single unit and must be checked for suitability before installation.

Application

This arch centre is used to create neat, structurally sound brick arches above window and door openings in cavity wall constructions. Its design allows for easy shaping of segmental arches, supporting brickwork during laying and curing. The integral weep vents help manage moisture by allowing any wind-driven rain penetrating the external wall skin to escape, reducing the risk of damp issues.

This product is supplied individually and designed to fit openings with a tolerance of ±25mm. Lengths are available in 50mm increments to suit various spans and rises.
