The Catnic Arch Centre is a specialist PVC-u arch unit designed for builders and contractors working on external cavity wall openings. It provides a permanent, robust centring solution for constructing segmental brick arches with a 2075mm span and 75mm rise. This product is a smart choice for reliable, neat arch construction and includes an integral weep vent to manage moisture effectively.

Application

Used primarily in external cavity wall builds—both traditional masonry and timber frame—the Catnic Arch Centre simplifies the formation of curved brickwork over openings such as doors and windows. Its permanent centring eliminates the need for temporary supports, speeding up installation while ensuring structural accuracy and finish quality.

Important notes: Always check the Arch Centre is undamaged and matches the lintel specification before installation. Remove all protective wrapping prior to fitting. Position the unit centrally on the lintel and trim the front drip section at the bearing end if required for a neat mortar finish. This product covers openings with a tolerance of ±25mm. Lengths between 425mm and 3175mm are available in 50mm increments to suit 75mm or 150mm rises.
