Details

The Catnic Arch Centre is a specialist PVC-u unit designed to provide permanent centring for brick arches over openings in external cavity walls. Suited to both traditional masonry and timber frame projects, it simplifies the construction of segmental arches while ensuring durability and weather resistance. Please note the product is supplied as described; images are for illustration only.

Application

This arch centre is intended for use over doorways, windows, or other openings where a brick arch is required. It offers reliable support during construction and remains in place as a permanent feature. The integrated weep vent allows moisture entering the cavity wall to drain away, reducing risk of damp issues. Typical users include builders and site managers working on cavity wall builds requiring strong, durable arch support.

Installation notes: Use only undamaged units, remove protective wrapping before fitting, ensure surfaces are clean and dry, and position centrally on the lintel. The front drip section can be trimmed for a neat finish. Arch centres cover openings with ±25mm tolerance, with sizes available in 50mm increments between 425mm and 3175mm spans.
