The Catnic Arch Centre is a specialist PVC-u arch unit designed to simplify the construction of segmental brick arches over openings in external cavity walls. Trusted by builders and contractors working on both traditional masonry and timber frame projects, it provides permanent centring for accurate bricklaying. Please note that the product must be inspected for damage and the protective wrapping removed before installation.

Application

This arch centre is specifically engineered to support brick arches over window and door openings, ensuring structural integrity and a neat finish. Its integral weep vent allows water that penetrates the outer leaf to drain away, reducing the risk of damp within cavity walls. It is suitable for use on both traditional cavity walls and timber frame structures, making it a versatile choice for site managers and tradespeople focused on durable, quality builds.

Before fitting, ensure the arch centre matches the lintel specification and that all surfaces are clean and dry. The front drip section may be trimmed to allow for thin mortar joints and improve appearance. Each length covers openings with a tolerance of ±25mm. Available in standard increments from 425mm to 3175mm spans with 75mm or 150mm rises to suit your project requirements.
