We are looking for a Sales Executive.

We have a great opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our small, friendly team at our brand-new branch in Paradise, Hemel Hempstead.

It is essential that you have experience selling building materials for this role but there more to it than that – you will need to be a team player who wants to get involved in all aspects of the branch, as you will be crucial to keeping things running smoothly and getting our new venture off to the right start!

The successful candidate will be results driven and business focused with strong communication and negotiation skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service. You will be proactive in promoting the company to existing and potential customers and confident in your ability to create sales and break into the local market.

Responsibilities

Promote company to existing and potential customers
Source potential new customers
Manage or create a customer database
Process customer orders
Deal with customer queries
Deal with queries and order stock for certain products
Process customer account applications when required
Visit customers on site to take samples/small deliveries
Assist in other aspects of running the branch when required
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm alternate Saturdays

Requirements

Sales experience and the ability to achieve results and hit targets
Experience in the Builders Merchants industry
Proficiency on the forklift is an advantage
Commitment to delivering and maintaining fantastic customer service
Ability to work in a team and to contribute to a dynamic team environment
Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency
Eligible to work in the UK
